For a limited time at SDCC, fans of artist Junji Ito can see over 100 of his original artworks in the Torrey Pines rooms at the Marriott Marquis. “Welcome to the Ito-Verse” is a visual feast of horrors from many of Ito’s popular works, including “Uzumaki.” When we asked Ito where he gets his inspiration for the nightmares he puts to paper, he said through his interpreter that he pull things from everyday life and “gives them a twist.” More to come in our SDCC wrap up at the end of the week!
