Hey there football fans! Today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong! So, let’s get started, shall we?! I predicted that the Steelers would beat the Jets 27-14, but the final score was 34-32 Steelers over the Jets in a very close game. The Jets did not look bad in that game. I predicted that the Cardinals would beat the Saints 27-16, but the final score was 20-13 Cards over the Saints. The defense stopped the Saints offense in the red zone to seal the win. I predicted that the Commanders would beat the Giants 23-20, but the final score was 21-6 Commanders over the Giants. The Giants offense with Russ struggled very bad and did not score one touchdown. I predicted that the 49ers would beat the Seahawks 17-14, but the final score was 17-13 49ers over the Seahawks. I almost got the score prediction right on the money!!!!!! I predicted that the Broncos would beat the Titans 30-19, but the final score was 20-12 Broncos over the Titans. I predicted that the Packers with Micah Parsons would beat the Lions 31-23, but the final score was 27-13 Packers over the Lions. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Texans 30-13, but the final score was 14-9 Rams over the Texans. The Rams defense was able to hold the Texans offense to just 3 field goals and no touchdowns. I predicted that the Vikings would beat the Bears and spoil Ben Johnson’s debut 27-26, but the final score was 27-24 Vikings over the Bears.
I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Bills 34-31, but the final score was 41-40 Bills over the Ravens in a dramatic shootout. The Ravens were playing so good until they started to fall apart. It all started with Derrick Henry fumbling the ball and the Ravens punting the ball on 4th and 3 where they could have gone for it instead of letting Josh Allen get the ball and is tone of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
Overall, I have gotten 8 out of 9 picks correct and only one wrong pick!!!!!! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 2 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Giants @Cowboys game, the divisional rivalries. The Giants offense as I mentioned struggled last week against the Commanders and the Cowboys offense showed that they can move the ball down the field even though they lost to the super bowl champs. So with that being said, I think the Dallas Cowboys will beat the Giants 38-20. The next game I will predict is the Seahawks @Steelers game. I think the Steelers will beat the Seahawks 34-17. The next game I will predict is the Rams @Titans game. I think the Rams will beat the Titans 38-16. The next game I will predict is the Bills @Jets game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Bills will beat the Jets 31-21. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Saints game. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been ruled out and will be out for several weeks and George Kittle, the tight end will also be out. However, I still think the 49ers will beat the Saints 20-17. The next game I will predict is the Browns @Ravens game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Ravens will remember a heart breaking loss to the Bills and beat the Browns 34-23. As long as the Ravens are able to hold onto the lead and not blow it again. The next game I will predict is the Bears @Lions game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Lions will be motivated and beat the Bears 27-20. They will have a home-field advantage. The next game I will predict is the Broncos @Colts game. I think the Broncos will beat the Colts 24-13. The next game I will predict is the Panthers @Cards game. The Panthers offense is struggling including Bryce Young and the Cards will have a home-field advantage as they play their first home game of the season. With that being said and even the Panthers are 15-6 against the Cards in record history, I think the Arizona Cardinals will beat the Panthers 33-16. The next game I will predict is the Eagles @Chiefs game, a super bowl rematch. I think the Eagles will beat the Chiefs 24-20. The next game I will predict is the Falcons @Vikings game on Sunday night football. I think the Vikings will beat the Falcons 31-17. The last two games I will predict are the Bucs @Texans game and Chargers @Raiders game, the divisional rivalries Both on Monday night football. I think the Texans will barely beat the Bucs 21-17 and the Chargers beat the Raiders 27-20.
