Hello football fans, today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong! So, let’s get started, shall we?! I predicted that the 49ers would beat the Giants 27-19, but the final score was 34-24 49ers over the Giants. I predicted that the Chargers would beat the Titans 39-16, but the final score was 27-20 Chargers over the Titans. I predicted that the Pats would beat the Falcons 41-17, but the final score was 24-23 Pats over the Falcons. I predicted that the Bears would beat the Bengals 27-23, but the final score was 47-42 Bears over the Bengals in a shootout. The Bears came back and won a game-winning touchdown after failing to recover an onside kick and the Bengals scoring a touchdown. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Saints 40-13, but the final score was 34-10 Rams over the Saints. I predicted that the Jags would beat the Raiders 24-10, but the final score was 30-29 Jags over the Raiders in overtime. The Jags scored a game-winning touchdown, the Raiders also scored a touchdown, but they failed to try to go for the win for 2 points in the red zone. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Commanders 24-20, but the final score was 38-14 Seahawks over the Commanders in a blowout.
I predicted that the Lions would beat the Vikings 40-23, but the final score was 27-24 Vikings over the Lions. JJ McCarthy’s return was the huge difference. Without him, they would have lost to the Lions. I predicted that the Colts would beat the Steelers 34-20, but the final score was 27-20 Steelers over the Colts. The Colts as a team committed 6 turnovers and the Steelers took advantage of almost all of them. I predicted that the Texans would beat the Broncos 23-20, but the final score was 18-15 Broncos over the Texans. I predicted that the Packers would beat the Panthers 35-3, but the final score was 16-13 Panthers over the Packers. I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Bills 39-36, but the final score was 28-21 Bills over the Chiefs. I predicted that the Cowboys would beat the Cards 40-34, but the final score was 27-17 Cards over the Cowboys in an upset. The Cowboys defense did not play well and the Cards offense led by Jacoby Brissett did their job, their defense with Walter Nolan making his debut as a rookie for the Cards defense and sacked Dak Prescott. The Cards finally win the game and now 3-5. They have also won 8 out of the last 9 games vs Cowboys.
Overall, I have gotten 7 out of 13 picks correct!!! And I am now 74-31-1 on the season blog picks based on how many picks I got right!! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 10 picks half way through the season, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Falcons @Colts game in Berlin. I think the Colts will beat the Falcons 35-13 because the new corner back Sauce Gardner will be making his debut and he will have a big day covering the Falcons go to guy Drake London. The next game I will predict is the Browns @Jets game. I think the Browns will easily beat the Jets 38-6. The next game I will predict is the Saints @Panthers game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Panthers will beat the Saints 24-10. The next game I will predict is the Pats @Bucs game. I think the Bucs will beat the Pats 27-23. The next game I will predict is the Ravens @Vikings game. I think the Ravens will beat the Vikings 31-26. The next game I will predict is the Bills 2Dolphins game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Bills will beat the Dolphins 31-16. The next game I will predict is the Giants @Bears game. I think the Bears will beat the Giants 38-23. The next game I will predict is the Jags @Texans game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Jags will beat the Texans 30-23. The next game I will predict is the Cards @Seahawks game, the divisional rivalries. The Seahawks offense just got a bit more dangerous following the addition of a former Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed. Two wide receivers of course Jaxon Smith Njigba and now Shaheed. I think the Seahawks will beat the Cards 38-20. The next game I will predict is the Lions @Commanders game. I think the Lions will beat the Commanders easily 41-21. The next game I will predict is the Rams @49ers game, the divisional rivalries and a rematch. This time I think the Rams will beat the 49ers 31-23 given the injuries on the 49ers side. The next game I will predict is the Steelers @Chargers game on Sunday night football. I think the Chargers will beat the Steelers 34-16. The last game I will predict is the Eagles @Packers game on Monday night football. I think the Packers will barely beat the Eagles 23-17.
