Hi everyone! Today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong! So, let’s get started! I predicted that the Packers would beat the Browns 30-23, but the final score was 24-22 Packers over the Browns. The Browns came so close to beaten the Packers, but they fell just short. Part of it was because the Packer’s defense got away with the holding call that could have put the Browns in a much better position to win the game. I predicted that the Colts would beat the Cardinals 27-24, but the final score was 22-16 Colts over the Cardinals. The Cardinals just made a lot of miscues such as penalties, missed kicks, some turnovers, dropped balls, intentional grounding call in the end zone for a safety and failed to score 20 points or more. The defense of the Cardinals was pretty much did a good job at stopping the run after they got gashed on the first play against the Colts offense. The Colts defense was able to hold off the Cardinals offense and I have to give the Colts some credit for it. Now, I would say that if the Cardinals wide receiver AJ Green did not drop that ball that he was wide open on 2nd down when the Cardinals had the lead 13-12 over the Colts and the kicker Matt Prater not missed any kicks, then, I believe that would have been a different game and the Cardinals could have won the game. They have lost 3 straight and they continue to struggle at home. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Vikings 30-27, but the final score was 30-23 Rams over the Vikings. My prediction was so close!!! I was just 4 points away from being right!!! I predicted that the Eagles would beat the Giants 34-13, but the final score was 34-10 Eagles over the Giants. My prediction there was also so close!!!! I was just 3 points over from being right!!!! I predicted that the Bills would beat the Patriots 31-27, but the final score was 33-21 Bills over the Patriots. I predicted that the Bengals would beat the Ravens 24-17, but the final score was 41-21 Bengals over the Ravens. The Ravens just continue to fall down and possibly missing the playoffs. I predicted that the Buccaneers would beat the Panthers 35-28, but the final score was 32-6 Buccaneers over the Panthers. I predicted that the Raiders would beat the Broncos 23-20, but the final score was 17-13 Raiders over the Broncos. I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Steelers 38-30, but the final score was 36-10 Chiefs over the Steelers in a huge blowout. Nobody showed up at all for the Steelers in that game and everyone on the Chiefs did. I predicted that the Cowboys would beat the Football Team 34-27, but the final score was 56-14 Cowboys over the Football Team in huge blowout. The Cowboys just absolutely crushed the Football Team! The offense and defense made their lives miserable for the Football Team and they were not ready to play against Dallas. That is the highest points that the Cowboys have scored in NFL history!
I predicted that the Chargers would beat the Texans 42-24, but the final score was 41-29 Texans over the Chargers in a big upset. That loss was just so devastating for the Chargers because they were supposed to win this game and they blew it. I mean, how do you lose to a team that is so god awful?! Maybe the Texans just want to play spoiler, but still! I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the Bears 24-13, but the final score was 25-24 Bears over the Seahawks. The Bears came back and won the game after they were down 24-17. This is what Pete Carroll should have said if he wanted to say it. “We Know Who We Thought They Were. And We Let Them Off The Hook!” This is the words that Dennis Green said when the Cardinals lost to the Bears when they came back and beat the Cardinals that night. But it is just me lol. I predicted that the Saints would beat the Dolphins 32-26, but the final score was 20-3 Dolphins over the Saints. The Saints offense could not score a touchdown because the defense of the Dolphins played outstanding football and the Dolphins are just red hot right now and they are 8-7 on the season. They might even sneak into the playoffs. But they would need to get some help first.
So, I have gotten 11 out of 14 picks correct! Now, let’s get to the week 17 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Jaguars @Patriots game. The Patriots can clinch their playoff spot with a win and if the Dolphins lose, Raiders lose, Chargers lose, Ravens lose, Steelers lose, or Bills win. I think the Patriots will beat the Jaguars and possibly make the playoffs 45-10 because I think that one of those teams I imagined will lose. The next game I will predict is the Rams @Ravens game. This is going to be a big game especially for the Rams. The Rams can clinch the NFC West if they win and if the Cardinals lose. The Ravens are falling down at the worst time. Now, Lamar Jackson might be able to come back and play tomorrow which it would be a big boost for the Ravens because right now they need him right now. If he comes back, then I think the Ravens have a shot at winning, but if he does not come back, then I think that they will lose again. I know that the Rams might pull off a win over the Ravens, but I’m actually going to pick the Ravens to beat the Rams in a close game 29-26. The next game I will predict is the Buccaneers @Jets game. I think the Buccaneers will handle business easily by beating the Jets 48-17. The next game I will predict is the Falcons @Bills game. The Bills can clinch their playoff spot with a win, tie, Ravens loss, Chargers, Raiders, Dolphins, Steelers, or Patriots loss. I do think the Bills will beat the Falcons 41-24 and clinch their playoff spot. The next game I will predict is the Chiefs @Bengals game. This is going to be a really close game. The Chiefs have clinched the AFC West division title. The Bengals can clinch the AFC North division title with the win or Ravens loss most likely. I don’t think the Browns Steelers game is going to be a tie. They can also clinch their playoff berth with: Bengals tie, Chargers, Raiders, Dolphins, Patriots loss or the Bills win. I do think the Bengals will clinch their playoff spot, however, I do think that the Chiefs will beat the Bengals in a close game 36-29. The Chiefs could also clinch the number one seed with the win over the Bengals. The next game I will predict is the Dolphins @Titans game. The Titans can clinch their division with: a win or the Colts loss. They can also clinch their playoff berth with: tie, or Chargers, Ravens, or Patriots loss. I think that the Titans can clinch their playoff spot, and I do think that the Titans might actually beat the Dolphins in a close game 37-31. The next game I will predict is the Raiders @Colts game. The Colts can clinch their playoff berth with: a win or tie, Ravens and Patriots loss or Dolphins loss. I think the Colts will beat the Raiders and clinch their playoff spot 31-17. The next game I will predict is the Eagles @Washington Football Team. The Eagles can clinch their playoff berth with: a win, Vikings, Saints loss or 49ers win, Falcons lose. I think the Eagles will beat the Football Team 30-16 and clinch their playoff berth.
The next game I will predict is the Broncos @Chargers game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Chargers will beat the Broncos 31-23 to keep their playoff hopes alive. The next game I will predict is the Texans @49ers game. The 49ers can clinch their playoff berth with: a win, Saints loss or tie, Vikings and Falcons lose. I think the 49ers will successfully beat the Texans 38-20 and clinch their playoff berth. The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Cowboys game, the game of the week! The Cowboys have won 4 straight games and the Cardinals have lost 3 straight games. The Cardinals will have Rodney Hudson back on the field, however, an offensive lineman DJ Humphries has been placed on Covid-19 list and will not play which is a big loss and just when Hudson was coming back. James Conner the running back and wide receiver Rondale Moore are questionable to play. The Cardinals need these players to come back so that they can help this team win the game. The Cowboys defense is number one in taking the ball away from you, they are number one in offense and they can score on you quickly, they have good players such as Zeke Elliot the running back, Dalton Schultz the tight end, Amari Cooper, Cee Dee Lamb, Demarcus Lawrence, Trevon Diggs, Tyron Smith, Cedric Wilson, Michael Gallup, Tony Pollard, a good offensive linemen, and of course Dak Prescott. The Cardinals defensive tackle Joran Phillips will be out and so will Marco Wilson a starting corner back. That is also a big loss! The Cardinals just need to get back to playing the offense that was working in the first half of the season. The good thing is that Kyler Murray has not lost at Texas. He is 43-0 there!! Insane!! That should be a great time for Kyler Murray to show up. The Cardinals cannot start off slow, they need to run the ball a lot, pressure the quarterback, stop the run, don’t make any miscues, Kyler Murray needs to step up in the pocket and not go backwards when there is pressure in his face because he seems to keep doing that, score touchdowns, kick less field goals, have your defense go on the field first, and don’t beat yourselves. I think the Cardinals know that by now. I am going to give the Cardinals an edge barely over the Cowboys 38-35. Remember, you got to play like a playoff team!! The next game I will predict is the Vikings @Packers game, the divisional rivalries on Sunday Night Football. The Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has been placed on the Covid-19 list which is a pretty big blow to the Vikings offense. The offense however is going to get back Dalvin Cook which it will help this offense. They need him to go off big tomorrow because they know that they are not going to beat the Packers if they can’t run the ball on the Packers. The Packers can clinch the number one seed and the home field advantage with: a win, Cowboys loss or tie or Rams and Bucs lose. I do think the Packers will beat the Vikings 28-23 and possibly clinch the number one seed and the home field advantage. The last game I will predict is the Browns @Steelers game, the divisional rivalries on Monday Night Football. I think the Steelers may beat the Browns in a close game 32-29.
