Hello football fans, today I want to discuss which picks I got correct and which ones I got wrong! So, let’s get started, shall we?! I predicted that the Chiefs would beat the Colts 40-37, but the final score was 23-20 Chiefs over the Colts in overtime. The Chiefs went down the field and kicked the game winning field goal in overtime to win the game. I predicted that the Seahawks would beat the titans 44-13, but the final score was 30-24 Seahawks over the titans. I predicted that the Packers would beat the Vikings 31-16, but the final score was 23-6 Packers over the Vikings. I predicted that the Ravens would beat the Jets 42-10, but the final score was 23-10 Ravens over the Jets. I predicted that the Lions would beat the Giants 39-19, but the final score was 34-27 Lions over the Giants in overtime. The Lions won the game after Jamir Gibbs immediately ran for a touchdown run on the first play in overtime and he had a huge game by having 3 touchdown runs. The defense of the Lions also finished out the game by stopping the Giants offense from scoring when they had a chance after the Lions scored a touchdown. The NFL ruled that both teams can have the ball whenever the game goes into overtime. I predicted that the Bears would beat the Steelers 27-20, but the final score was 31-28 Bears over the Steelers. I predicted that the Pats would beat the Bengals, but the final score was 26-20 Pats over the Bengals. I predicted that the Browns would beat the Raiders 28-9, but the final score was 24-10 Browns over the Raiders. I predicted that the Jags would beat the Cardinals 34-17, but the final score was 27-24 Jags over the Cardinals in overtime. The Cards defense intercepted Trevor Lawrence 4 times despite the loss. The Cards offense failed to win the game in overtime when the offense decided to go deep on 4th down instead of getting an easy 4 yards. A questionable play-calling by Drew Petzing. I predicted that the Rams would beat the Bucs 44-24, but the final score was 34-7 Rams over the Bucs. I predicted that the 49ers would beat the Panthers 35-17, but the final score was 20-9 49ers over the Panthers.
I predicted that the Eagles would beat the Cowboys 39-36 in a shootout, but the final score was 24-21 Cowboys over the Eagles. The Eagles were up 21-0 in the first half, but the Cowboys somehow managed to come back and beat the Eagles by going down the field and kicking a game-winning field goal. The Eagles in my opinion along with the Eagles should have won the game. The Cowboys are meant to start playing better in the second half in one of the most games that were down by a lot. For example, The Cowboys almost came back and beat the Packers in the 2016 Divisional playoff game after being down 28-6. I predicted that the Saints would beat the Falcons 34-12, but the final score was 24-10 Falcons over the Saints.
Overall, I have gotten 11 out of 13 picks correct!!!!! And based on how many picks I got correct and wrong, I am now 102-43-1 on the season!!! A high record! Now, let’s get to the NFL week 13 picks, shall we?! The first game I will predict is the Saints @Dolphins game. I think the Dolphins will beat the Saints 27-3. The next game I will predict is the Texans @Colts game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Colts will beat the Texans 20-17 since the Texans defense is really number one given that they have sacked Josh Allen 8 times. Eight times!!! The next game I will predict is the Falcons @Jets game. I think the Falcons will beat the Jets 14-9. The next game I will predict is the 49ers @Browns game. I think the 49ers will beat the Browns 21-13. The next game I will predict is the Rams @Panthers game. I think the Rams will beat the Panthers 34-13. The next game I will predict is the Jaguars @Titans game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Jags will beat the titans 27-20. The next game I will predict is the Cardinals @Buccaneers game. Marvin Harrison will be playing for the first time since week 9 for the Cardinals vs the Cowboys and the Cards will have a trio on offense. Not only Harrison, but Michael Wilson and Trey McBride. Now, Marvin may have a limited role to make sure that he does not get hurt again and with the emergency situation. The Bucs defense has struggled against the pass and Baker Mayfield may not be 100% healthy even though if he plays. I still think the Bucs will beat the Cards in a close game 27-24. The next game I will predict is the Vikings @Seahawks game. I think the Seahawks will easily beat the Vikings 31-3. The next game I will predict is the Bills @Steelers game. I think the Bills will bounce back by beating the Steelers 30-19. The next game I will predict is the Raiders @Chargers game, the divisional rivalries. I think the Chargers will beat the Raiders 34-12. The next game I will predict is the Broncos @Commanders game on Sunday night football. I think the Broncos will beat the Commanders 34-16. The last game I will predict is the Giants @Pats game on Monday night football. I think the Pats will beat the Giants 38-19.
